Hunger gives you an EXP boost if you keep it at 0/100.
You can keep your hunger low by cooking and eating food @house
If your hunger is at 100/100, you lose about 10-15x EXP.

It's cool I figured it out, I was just confused that you have to go to @house to find the cooking npc
