I've been reading around online and everyone with windows 8.1 has a really hard time getting v83 and v62 to run. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? it continuously tells me the parameter is incorrect.
Any help will be appreciated!

Instead of Windows 7 for the comp mode, you can try other modes such as Windows XP or Vista. I couldn't get mines to work with having it set to windows 7 but once I changed it to the Windows xp Service pack 2 it worked fine. The message might pop up here and there but it would work after 2nd or 3rd try. Don't forget to check the boxes too.
Closing off unused background processes such as Browsers, Skype, Teamviewer, Torrent, Steam [Temporarily] generally help when I'm trying to get on :o
