Is anyone else feeling that the MSI system is a little bit pricey? Although there are 1-5 different tier's of MSI, the price tags on those msi's are a little absurd. For example a Tier 5 MSI would cost 360 Peridots which translates to about 120 minutes of farming Lilynouch (ONE SHOTTING) And ontop of that we would have to farm 10 letters from the letter shop to purchase Clean Slate Scrolls, And we all know how tedious it is to farm those letters. If we do not want to do all that farming either we could wait at the fishing map. While i have personally tried that farming 150 White Bait for the 5 Clean Slate Scrolls would take over 20 hours of afking at the fishing map. This would in return negatively benefit the server's population/ growth.
My suggestion is to:
1).Either make Headless Horseman ---> Blue Mushmom Mobs to drop mesos so people could farm Peridots whilst training for their stats.Â
2).Lower the costs of an MSIÂ
3).Introduce less tedious/time consuming methods of gaining the requirements for the items for MSI's.
IMO this would attract much more new players to make their home at MapleKey because they could actually progress and further enhance their damage.
Please don't bash on me too hard on the grammar/suggestion    <3 Â
I'm a somewhat new player here,  most of the time that i've logged in, it's pretty much dead. People are afk, and there isn't much to keep me entertained. The people are friendly and nice, but it's very few.Â
Frankly, what does this server offer? People come in, expecting it to offer what was stated, and y'know have Fun. I got bored in the first few days of arriving, there was barely anyone online to talk to, and hardly any good features that made me want to stay.Â
Preventing Key from ultimately closing down for good, as what others have said, I suggest closing the server/closed beta. Pick some people to do the testing. Don't pick only those that have been here a long time, or are donors, etc etc etc.Â
Pick from your newer playerbase as well, which would give them a reason/incentive to stay with the server. Frankly speaking i wanted to just quit, but I have friends here and also had a gut feeling to check back on the forums, I've always liked v83 servers, and Key will definitely have alot to offer, if time and dedication is put through. I want to see this server succeed. And I'm willing to be part of the test team. As I've said above, bringing the server into a closed beta would be the wisest thing to do.
I'm not much of a technical person, to help with coding and editing, but I can contribute to bug testing and of the sort.
