Hi, I cannot log into maplestory for some reason? I get a server check whenever I try to login. Am i banned?

i log into my acount and once i typed pin to play the character i get disconnected... 
can someone please help me

Make sure to download from dropbox since its the fastest way to download. Other download sites such as Megafile and mediafire takes atleast an hours!
just a heads up for those who are new to the server and want to start ASAP^^.
