I made a donation of $100.00 and it didn't show the "purpose" thing but I did added a note saying Username:----------

Sorry for the confusion. The text box you're supposed to leave your username/login ID in is labeled "Notes".
It sounds like you figured this out and did exactly that though, so there's no need to worry!

Again, all donations are processed manually by the owner so it can take up to 2 days for your donation to be processed.
Just keep an eye out for an email that will be sent to the email address associated with you PayPal account for further instructions..
